As you may already know, the First Friday of December is almost upon us (This coming Friday, Dec. 3rd). We’re extremely excited about this months roster of artists and performers for La Parada. We hope all of you come out and party with us! It wouldn’t be the same with out you. Here’s a little more info….

We’re excited to announce that our featured band will be Frontera Bugalu. Our featured dj’s are RayDub and DLS (Las Cruces). Our live artists will be Fernando Fernandez, Frank Rozales and Ray Ray from Mad Vizual Poetz, Luis House & Shedrick Allen. There will be fire dance performances by Bella Fusion.
The patio will be wrapped to hold mother nature away along with plenty of heaters. $2 Beers and Drink Specials. Come out and Drink. Come out and Dance!
Doors at 9pm. It’s 18 & over w/ id! $5 cover

La Parada vol. 3 – Pics & Thanks
First things first. We want to thank you, all the beautiful people that have made these parties possible. With out the people, it would all be for nothing. We hope that you all bring your friends and continue to come out to celebrate and nurture the creative energy here in El Paso. We love you all. We just wanted to post a few pics from the November. Salud! \\\ Peace of Art – Silent Art Auction Fundraiser
Salud! is a social event designed to raise awareness of community issues affecting the El Paso/Juarez Borderland through art, music and community. Friday November 5th, we will be hosting the first Salud! in honor of Peace of Art. Peace of Art is a local, grass roots, non-profit organization that uses visual/graphic art to raise awareness & funds for the victims and their families affected by the violence in Juarez.
This event will be held at Medallions, located at the San Carlos Building in Downtown El Paso, as a Happy Hour kick off for La Parada . There will be an art auction, live entertainment along with wine specials and appetizers. Proceeds from Salud! will be donated to Peace of Art to help fund their future campaigns and programs.

CALL FOR ARTISTS!!!
Salud! is looking for artists (in any medium) to submit a PEACE of ART for our upcoming silent auction, the First Friday of November. Fifty percent of proceeds will benefit the non-profit organization PEACE of ART, 30% will be given back to the artist. In addition, participating artists and their work will be promoted at the event.
Submissions requests must include 3 photos of the art piece to be auctioned and must be submitted by email to cometogetherproductions@gmail.com no later than midnight, Monday, October 25, 2010. Artists who’s pieces have been chosen to be in the auction will be notified no later than 48 hours of submission by email. Submit early to guarantee your spot! If your piece is chosen to be a part of the event, then the piece must be physically delivered to the San Carlos Building in downtown El Paso on Friday October 28, 2010 from 8am – 6pm.
Artists will have the right to submit their minimum auction price and will maintain ownership of the piece if the auction minimum is not met. If the the minimum auction is met, then ownership of the piece will be delivered over to the winning bidder.
After the Salud! We will be celebrating as usual, join us for La Parada! La Parada is an ongoing arts, music and social event held each and every First Friday of the month. This month our guest DJ’s are One Man Jazz (Boombox -LA), Detroit-based DJ Seoul (Detroit Techno Militia & Bang Tech 12). Rob Bass & System A. will be throwing down a killer 2 dj collaborative Dubstep set. Our showcase live performance is The DA. Luis House, Shedrick, and Ray Ray (Mad Vizual Poetz) will be our live artist for the evening & Bless 1ne will be our guest host. Shout out to Luis House for letting us use pics of the artwork he created live last month for this months flyer.
